Partnering with solo and small firm lawyers to provide outstanding appellate advocacy
The vast majority of the appeals I handle come to me on referral from other attorneys. I have been honored to be the lawyer who other Illinois lawyers choose for appeals for over 20 years. I understand that referring counsel’s reputation is on the line, along with mine, with every referral I receive.
I understand what solo and small firm attorneys need — I’ve been one for my entire career. I have also worked on behalf of my fellow solo and small firm lawyers. For example, I served on the Illinois State Bar Association General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Section Council for six years, including a term as chair. I was the final chair of the annual ISBA Solo and Small Firm Conference and the founding chair of the association’s Solo and Small Firm Practice Institute and I have served on the event organizing committee for over ten years. I have continued my work to expand continuing legal education opportunities for solo and small firm lawyers during my tenure as chair of the ISBA CLE Committee.
When your client’s needs for appellate representation exceed your resources or fall outside your area of practice, I can help. To discuss a case or explore a referral relationship, please contact me. All referral agreements comply with ethical standards and referral fees are paid promptly.
